Ex Plus Ultra: The Postgraduate Ejournal of the WUN International Network in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies

Ex Plus Ultra is a free online journal of interdisciplinary postgraduate scholarship in the fields of colonial and postcolonial studies. The ejournal was founded by an editorial collective of postgraduate students from the Department of History at the University of Sydney in 2008, in consultation with postgraduate students from the University of Leeds and the University of Bristol, with the support of the Worldwide Universities Network. In 2010, Ex Plus Ultra was handed over to a new postgraduate committee comprised of students from the School of English and the School of Fine Art, History of Art, and Cultural Studies at The University of Leeds, with the support of the Leeds Institute of Colonial and Postcolonial Studies. In 2011, publication of the third edition of Ex Plus Ultra was passed over to an editorial committee based at the Department of History at the University of Bristol, and supported by Bristol's Centre for the Study of Colonial and Postcolonial Societies

Ex Plus Ultra welcomes submissions in the form of academic articles, reviews, and reflective or discussion pieces. All feature articles in Ex Plus Ultra are refereed by at least two scholars with expertise in the relevant fields. The anonymity of both author and referee during this process is guaranteed. All other content in Ex Plus Ultra is managed by the editorial committee.
